French Game is for self-paced French learning. TCF Speaking is for AI speaking practice and does not include the paid French Game chapters. French + TCF Complete combines both. Duxville Premium includes the game and a larger monthly speaking allowance.

Free Start includes 10 beginner French Game missions and 3 one-time AI speaking task credits with a student account. No credit card is required for this starter access.

Each speaking task uses one credit, so you can use the trial to try Task 1, Task 2 and Task 3 once each, or repeat a task. The three free credits do not renew every month.

Create or sign in to your student account, then open TCF Speaking. Select Task 1, Task 2 or Task 3 in the practice panel. Choose your microphone, use the free microphone and sound tests, and tick the audio-processing consent box. Then select Start Task 1, Start Task 2 preparation or Start Task 3. For Task 2, start the speaking phase after preparation.

Answer in French. After the session, use Finish & get feedback to review your transcript and practice feedback.

Allow microphone access in your browser, select the microphone you intend to use and run Test microphone. Speak during the test and check that the input-level bar moves. The microphone test itself does not use a speaking credit.

If you can see the examiner text but cannot hear the voice, check your speaker volume and select Enable examiner audio when that option appears. For further help, contact the Academy with the error message and device/browser details. Do not send passwords or payment information.

A monthly story series is planned, with 20 chapters in each new adventure. It is marked Coming next; the first release date will be announced before the series begins.

The planned series is for memberships that include French Game: French Game, French + TCF Complete and Duxville Premium. The current Ville Lumière adventure remains the starting story. Future stories are not all available yet, and the TCF Speaking-only plan does not include them.

No. Chapters are parts of a French Game story. AI speaking credits are the allowance for live sessions in the TCF Speaking Lab.

Reading lessons, playing game missions and taking game quizzes do not use TCF speaking credits. A 20-chapter story does not add 20 speaking credits to your account.

Beginners can start with the introductory missions and revisit available lessons and quizzes at their own pace. The game offers a practice pathway across A1, A2, B1 and B2.

Completing chapters records learning activity; it is not an official CEFR qualification and does not guarantee a particular language level or examination result.

The listed digital memberships cover the French Game, AI speaking practice, or both, as shown on each plan card. Live classes and individual teacher reviews are separate unless expressly included in a written offer.

One individual speaking task uses one credit. Three credits are enough to practise Tasks 1, 2 and 3 once each. You can also spend your allowance repeating a task or choosing another scenario; each new AI practice session uses another credit.

A 30-credit allowance is equivalent to 10 three-task practice sets. A 60-credit allowance is equivalent to 20 sets. These are practice allowances, not official exam bookings.

The three free starter credits are a one-time allowance. They do not renew.

Paid plans have the monthly allowance shown on the plan card; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Paid enrolment is currently arranged through the Academy, so confirm your access period and next credit allocation date before activating a membership.

No. The displayed TCF /20 projection, CEFR level and NCLC estimate are AI-generated practice estimates, not official results or a promise of the mark you will receive.

A single-task sample cannot establish your result for the complete speaking test. The current feedback report uses a transcript and does not assess pronunciation from the original audio. Use the corrections to guide practice, not as certification.

You cannot start another credit-based speaking session until your account has an available allowance. Contact the Academy to discuss a suitable plan or the next allocation for an existing membership.

Using all of your speaking credits does not spend or replace your French Game chapters. Access to the game depends on the separate benefits of your plan.

No. The current plan-request buttons open an enquiry form. Sending that form does not take a payment, start a recurring charge or automatically activate paid access.

The Academy will confirm the selected plan, payment arrangements and access details. Self-service subscription checkout is not yet enabled.

All displayed plan prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Monthly prices are shown before applicable taxes.

The total amount, including any applicable taxes, must be confirmed before you approve payment. Creating a free account or sending a plan enquiry does not itself create a charge.

Contact the Academy with your account email and the change you need. The applicable terms and effective date will be confirmed for your membership; do not assume that changing a plan selection changes an existing subscription.

For refund requests or a technical failure affecting a charged task, describe what happened and when. Review the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy for the applicable process. Do not include card numbers or passwords.

During live speaking practice, your microphone audio and transcript are processed to provide AI examiner responses and feedback. Account and usage information is also used to manage access and speaking credits.

Read the Privacy Policy before starting. Avoid giving sensitive identification, financial or medical details in practice answers. Keep your account credentials private and do not share membership access.
